Certifications
Eveready was certified for the first time in 1999 against ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. During our recertification year, 2002, we were also certified against OHSAS 18001.
Certification runs through a three year cycle, two consecutive year surveillance and then the third year re-certification. Eveready has successfully been re-certified for four cycles.
Due to the maturity of our three systems, Eveready decided in 2004 to integrate the three systems into one Integrated Management System (IMS).
In 2011 our integrated management system (IMS) was recertified. Eveready is one of the few companies in South Africa with a fully integrated IMS.
In 2014 we were re-certified for ISO 9001 and now again in 2017.
The Eveready Way, a unique lean management system, has been developed and it guides continuous improvement throughout our organisation with a focus on the customer.
