#LoveLocal Competition Ts and Cs

Before submitting an entry into our #LoveLocalcompetition, please read through our terms and conditions.

• The competition period will be from Thursday, 1 February until Tuesday, 27 February 2024. No late entries will be accepted.
• This competition is only open to South African citizens residing in the country.
• Entrants will be informed of the competition entry method and prizes via Eveready’s website, Facebook and Instagram pages.
• Entrants must only enter on the website, via the website entry form.
• To qualify, entrants are required to 1) Purchase any Eveready Platinum Alkaline battery product 2) Take a photo of the Eveready Platinum Alkaline batteries in its packaging plus a photo of the till slip, and submit these via the competition entry form on our website.
• One till slip equals one entry. Multiple entries on a single till slip will not be accepted.
• Only till slips dated between 1 February 2024 to 27 February 2024 will be accepted.
• Only till slips with a visible line depicting the Eveready Platinum Alkaline batteries will be accepted.
• Once an entrant has entered into the competition, their entry is valid throughout the entire competition period and their name may be drawn at any point during this time.
• Each entrant’s submitted images (till slip and pack images) will be moderated by Eveready and added to the competition gallery only once approved.
• There will be 3 winners in total, who will be announced at the end of the competition period.
• Winners will be randomly selected. The first entrant who has met all the qualifying competition criteria will win a R1500 Takealot voucher. The second qualifying entrant will win a R1000 Takealot voucher and their qualifying entrant wins a R500 Takealot voucher.
• Each winner can only win once.
• The winners (and their entry images) may be required to appear on Eveready’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube), or in printed publications, for which no fee will be payable.
• Eveready (Pty) Ltd and its associated advertising agency/sponsor reserve the right to cancel the competition without any prior notice and at any time, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of their control.
• In the event of such cancellation, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against Eveready (Pty) Ltd, their employees, agents, partners, sponsors or promoters.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Eveready (Pty) Ltd will not be held responsible for any delay in delivery of any prizes awarded.

Please Note:

• Eveready (Pty) Ltd will endeavour to contact prize winners for seven days following their names having been drawn. If, however, that person cannot be reached, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected.
• You are providing your contact information only to Eveready (Pty) Ltd and Online Innovations. We ensure that your information will not be shared with any third-party applications or companies.
• Please ensure that you provide the correct contact and email address details.
• Eveready (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to withdraw any prize granted to an entrant who is deemed ineligible for the prize.
