The Eveready "Power for Life” Road Show Team will be on tour soon and is proud to present the ever-popular musical sensation, Obsession as hosts of their exciting Road Show.
Eveready is continuously striving to invest in the education of our youth, so for the third year running, they are proud to announce that the prestigious Eveready Young Inventors’ Award will once again be up for grabs in a competition open to all high schools countrywide. The contest serves a dual-purpose whereby learners are encouraged to creatively explore their inventive skills and both the schools and the learners get the opportunity to win their share of R40 000 in cash prizes.
Learners are challenged to design and build any device powered by an Eveready battery. All entries must be submitted before 12 noon on the 18 of March 2005 to LMP, PO Box 5029, Rivonia 2128. The top ten entries will be displayed at Gold Reef City during the month of May 2005.
Winners will be anounced right here on the Eveready website so keep your eyes peeled.

How to Enter:
There is no limit to the number of entries your school may submit. The Project Teams may comprise any number of learners, but a teacher must oversee each Project Team.
Entries must comprise the following:
- A photograph of the Project Team and the teacher together with their invention.
- A completed entry form. Please download extras as required.
- A document, complete with diagrams and photographs that describe how the invention works.
- An A1 poster summarizing the project.
- Names of participating learners and teachers.
- A contact name and telephone number (office hours).
