Store Branding
The Eveready Store Branding campaign is about creating and maintaining brand awareness for Eveready at consumer level. It is about creating a long-term advertisement, with a difference.
The Eveready Store Branding campaign began in 2002 with just 20 stores nationally. In 2003 we increased our coverage by an additional 50 stores and in 2004, we have branded 40 stores in South Africa and will be branding an additional 5 stores each in Namibia and Botswana.
Stores are selected based on their positioning, they must be on a main road or near either a bus or taxi rank and must be the key store in the area.
Stores are branded at no expense to the store owner and the paint is guaranteed for 3 years. This fresh coat of paint creates a sense of pride for the store owner and provides them with additional visibility for their stores. They become a landmark in their area and a convenient meeting place for the local people.
